Charity and corporate social responsibility in the broadest sense are an important part of MODIVO SA's activities. We believe that we have a real impact on the reality around us, so we attach great importance to local actions and undertake a variety of CSR-related initiatives. We engage in large cyclical projects and initiate our own. We take care of our employees and mutually motivate each other to work towards a sustainable business.

Social initiatives

We listen to the needs of various institutions, organizations, and foundations, and support them accordingly. With a sense of responsibility, we have adopted a Donation Policy that governs matters related to the donation process within our organization. This helps us better address reported needs. 

Modivo SA

Our priority is supporting the local community, which is why we have been dedicated for years to helping the Children’s Home in Kożuchów. We provide children with clothing, footwear, and computer equipment, but our main focus is on creating equal opportunities through tutoring, monthly scholarships, internship programs, and educational resources. We also bring a bit of joy by organising seasonal gifts, swim passes, and sports events. In 2022, our initiatives were honoured by the Governor of Lubuskie Province in the “Citizen of the Year” contest.
 
We extend our support to national charitable initiatives as well. Each year, we take part in the “Noble Gift” project, preparing material assistance for those in need. We also contribute to the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity (WOŚP) auctions and make product donations to various foundations. Our approach focuses on thoughtful, needs-driven support, a commitment recognised by the Responsible Business Forum, which regularly highlights our work in its reports on best practices.

Environmental initiatives 

As a European e-commerce leader in the sale of clothing, footwear, and accessories, combining the offerings of eobuwie.pl and MODIVO, we initiate environmentally friendly solutions. Aware of the fashion industry's impact on the environment, we strive to minimize the negative footprint on the supply chain. Our sustainable activities include both internal and external processes. 

Modivo SA

We have introduced biodegradable and 100% recyclable paper packaging, which allows us to reduce plastic consumption in the logistics area and save warehouse space. Thanks to paper packaging, we can save 15,000 trees, which will produce oxygen for over 150,000 people – that's more than the population of Zielona Góra.
